The "Sister-to-Sister" Scholarship provides financial assistance to mature African-American women in their pursuit of post-secondary education. An applicant must be a continuing or returning student, whose education was interrupted by family responsibilities or other personal demands and is now ready to completed post-secondary education. All application must meet the scholarship criteria.

Eligibility Criteria
Must be a graduating high school senior
Must be graduating from a Volusia County School
A recent photo
Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or better
Have 50 hours of community service
Submit a 350 word typed essay
Provide two (2) Letters of Recommendation
Proof of acceptance to an accredited College, University, or Institute of Higher Learning.
About The Scholarship
The Volusia County Chapter of NHBW, Inc., is pleased to continue our vision of improving the lives of families through education, by offering this non-recurring award to support and encourage graduating high school seniors who are currently enrolled or have proof of acceptance to an institution of higher learning.
