Updates to the Public Comment Period and Public Hearing for FY2028 Annual Plan and The MTW Supplement

UPDATES TO THE PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD
AND SUBSEQUENT PUBLIC HEARING

FY2028 Annual Plan and the
Moving To Work (MTW) Supplement to the Annual Plan

The New Smyrna Beach Housing Authority (NSBHA) provides a forty-five (45) day notice to residents, participants, and the public for the NSBHA's proposed FY2028 Annual Plan and the MTW Supplement to the Annual Plan.

The public comment period has been extended, and the public hearing has been changed. The original public comment period was from August 26, 2026 to October 13, 2026. The new public comment period is from August 26, 2026 until November 9, 2026.

The Public Hearing has also been reschedule from Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 5:30 pm to Monday, November 9, 2026, at 5:30 pm to accommodate the extended public comment period.

The FY28 Annual Plan and the MTW Supplement to the Annual Plan can be viewed at the NSBHA located at 1101 S. Dixie Freeway, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday or online at https://www.newsmyrnahousing.com starting August 26, 2026 until November 9, 2026.
