The Housing Authority of the City of New Smyrna Beach is moving into another phase of the Move To Work Supplement plan.

This phase will include limits of interim requests to One (1) Interim Change Per Year at the request of the household.

This phase will start February 1, 2024.

What this means for you:

You may request only one (1) Interim Change Per Calendar Year.
If you are requesting an interim for a decrease in income, only decreases of (10%) or more will be processed.
You may NOT request an interim decrease within the first six (6) months after initial occupancy.
Required interim recertification's for household composition changes will not count against the limit.

Participants can request hardship exemptions. Please review the attached Hardship Policy for further information.
